WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS
During the summer, Youth meet on Wednesday evenings in the FLC from 6:00-8:00PM (unless otherwise noted). ALL Youth from rising 6th graders through Senior High are invited. If you have any questions please contact Doug and/or Debi Nichols @ dougdebin@ccumc.hrcoxmail.com

June 22 >> POOL PARTY to start our summer and to welcome all newcomers to youth including (but not limited too) rising 6th graders!!! Bring a towel and your appetite we are grill’n!! The Blythe family has graciously offered their pool and backyard. They live at 3508 Criollo Dr., 23453. Meet at their home at 6pm.
June 29 >> minute to win it based on the TV show; teams will participate in a series of simple, yet nerve-wracking, games that can lead to prizes.
July 6 >> dodge ball tourney Bring your friends. Don’t worry, it will be a controlled game of dodge ball.
July 13 >> “clue” car rally Based on the popular game Clue, the whole city is used for the game board. This has become a new favorite! We will need some parent chauffeurs!
July 20 >> tides game we will meet at the church @ 5:30pm and carpool to Harbor Park. Cost is $10.00 per ticket and extra money for food and stuff. Late night, we will be back at church after the game ends, anywhere from 10-11pm
July 27 >> youth outreach week we will be at Busch Gardens during this amazing mission week. No other youth activities planned. Make sure to sign up for YOW so you can join us!!!
August 3 >> laser quest we will meet at the church to carpool to Laser Quest and have a great time playing laser tag. Cost is $20 for 3 games. Don’t be late, we need to leave at 6:15! We will be back to church no later than 10pm
August 10>> mystery dinner our most popular dining event ever!! Dinner is provided along with lots of surprises! You won’t want to miss this event! We will be in the Fellowship Hall this night.
August 17>> girls/guys night out this is always a popular evening. We split up and do our own thing. More details to follow.
August 24>>slip n slide kickball Are you kiddin me! You’ve never played kick ball with slip n slides as the base paths? Wear clothes to get wet in. bring a towel
August 31 >> end of summer pool party/cornhole tourney The Alberts have graciously offered their pool and backyard. They live at 4700 Longmont Rd., 23456. Meet at their home at 6pm. Bring a towel and your appetite we are grill’n!! Bring yer cornhole skillz!
